One major idea I have had, and am interested in, is the privacy issues surrounding Twitter and Facebook. People nowadays are turning a little bit too, health and safety wise, yet they don't seem to have any kind of privacy issues surrounding Facebook and Twitter, but mainly Facebook. All Facebook have is its own safety aspects, what people can see etc, but people still believe that this is not enough, and that more should be done about the privacy issues. Can you be the only one to add people? Should people be allowed to look at your friends? Things like this are constantly pulled up against Facebook. Twitter is slowly becoming the same, even the parts of the website sound bad, you don't "become friends" you "follow" one another. And people don't even have to follow back. Twitter is basically the "unsafe" facebook, or the public facebook. As shown above.
I plan to write an essay based around these issues, and other aspects around internet social lives that can be wrong.
But of course, as ever, I might have to be slightly biased toward twitter ;D
Also, off topic but good none-the-less. My dad hates me and wants me to leave Bedes.
